About the game

Fruit Mission Rush is a 45-second reflex game: roam a huge fruit field and tap only this round's three mission fruits. Each mission combines a fruit type and a color, such as "Red Apple" or "Blue Strawberry", and changes randomly every round. Mission fruits are worth +3 points, any other fruit costs 2 points, and every 5 correct taps in a row earns a +5 combo bonus.

How to play

  • Tap / click: tap a fruit to collect it and score it instantly.
  • Drag (finger or mouse): pan around the fruit field, which is much larger than the screen.
  • Even a small slide counts as a drag, so tap cleanly on a fruit when you want to pick it.
  • Press "Start game" to begin; the game starts after a 3-second countdown.
  • Use the sound button in the top-right corner to turn sound effects and music on or off.

Tips

  • The start screen shows this round's three mission fruits, so memorize each type-and-color combination before you begin.
  • The same fruit in a different color is a wrong pick. If the mission is "Red Strawberry", orange and blue strawberries cost you 2 points.
  • A wrong tap resets your combo to zero, so if you're chasing the 5-in-a-row bonus, value accuracy over speed.
  • Each mission fruit appears at least 25 times on the map. Once an area is cleared, drag over to a fresh section instead of hunting for stragglers.
  • The timer is highlighted when 10 seconds or less remain. Stick to sure picks in the final seconds to protect your score.

How does scoring work?

Mission fruits give +3 points and other fruits give -2 points. Every time you hit 5 mission fruits in a row you get an extra +5 combo bonus. With too many mistakes your score can even drop below zero.

When does the game end?

It ends when the 45-second timer runs out. The results screen shows your score, correct and wrong taps, and best combo, and you can replay right away with a new mission and a new fruit layout.

Is my high score saved?

Yes. Your best score is stored in your browser's local storage, so it stays on the same device and browser. Clearing your browser data resets it.
