About the game

Cash Catch Rush is a casual arcade game where you have 60 seconds to catch falling silver coins, gold coins and cash bills in your cup while dodging trash. The stage goes up every 15 seconds (up to stage 4), making items fall faster with more trash, and from stage 2 a wind that switches between left and right starts blowing, sending bills fluttering wildly. Score 800 or more to clear.

How to play

  • ◀ LEFT / RIGHT ▶ buttons at the bottom: hold to move the cup sideways (works with touch and mouse).
  • Keyboard ← → arrow keys or A / D: move left and right.
  • Space or Enter: start a game from the start or results screen; during play, pause and resume.
  • Esc or the pause button at the top of the screen: pause the game.
  • On the start screen you can toggle sound effects, background music and vibration separately.

Tips

  • Silver coins are worth 10, gold coins 30 and bills 80; bills rise to 100 in "normal" wind and 130 in "strong" wind, so go after bills in the later stages.
  • Bills drift and sway the most in the wind, while coins fall almost straight down. Check the wind direction at the top and move to where the bill will land ahead of time.
  • Catching money in a row builds a combo: +50 at 5, +150 at 10, and +300 at 15 and every 5 after that. Missing money or getting hit by trash breaks the combo.
  • Trash costs 50 points and resets your combo. No trash falls in the first 15 seconds (stage 1), so build up your combo there.
  • Letting trash hit the ground costs nothing. When money and trash overlap, prioritize dodging the trash.

FAQ

Is it free? Do I need to install anything?

It's free and runs in your web browser with no installation. On phones you use the buttons at the bottom of the screen; on a computer you use the keyboard.

When does the game end?

There are no lives; the game ends when the 60-second timer runs out. The results screen shows your final score and how many silver coins, gold coins, bills and trash you caught, and a score of 800 or more counts as a clear.

Can trash make my score negative?

Trash is -50 points, but your score never drops below 0. It does reset your combo to zero, though.

Is my high score saved?

Yes. Your best score and your sound effect, music and vibration settings are stored in your browser's local storage, so they stay on the same device and browser. Clearing your browser data resets them.
