About the game

Block Puzzle takes the classic falling-block formula on a 10x20 board and adds cute animal matching and missions. Stack blocks to fill and clear horizontal lines, and when 5 or more cells of the same animal connect, they vanish too. Timed missions keep coming and reward bonus points when you complete them, and the game ends when the stack reaches the top and a new block has no room to spawn.

How to play

  • ← → arrow keys: move left and right / ↑: rotate / ↓: soft drop
  • Space: hard drop / P: pause / Enter or Space: start the game
  • Mobile taps: tap left or right of the block to move it, tap the block or above it to rotate, tap below it to drop faster
  • Mobile drags: drag sideways to move one cell at a time, drag down for a continuous soft drop, flick down quickly to hard drop
  • Use the on-screen pause button to stop and resume at any time

Tips

  • Clearing more lines at once scores more: 100 for 1 line, 300 for 2, 500 for 3 and 800 for 4.
  • Each cleared line containing a ★ star block adds a 200-point bonus, so prioritize lines with star cells.
  • Every block carries one animal; place matching animal blocks together so 5 or more connected cells vanish for bonus points.
  • Failing a mission does not end the game, it just swaps in a new one, so watch the timer and goal and only chase it when it is safe.
  • The level goes up every 10 lines and blocks fall faster, so keep the middle of the board low and use the next-block preview.

Is it free? Do I need to install anything?

It is free and runs right in your browser with no installation.

How do missions work?

Random missions with a time limit appear, such as clearing lines, gaining points, making combos, clearing 2 or 4 lines at once, clearing star lines or surviving. Complete one in time to earn a 1000 to 1500 point bonus, and the next mission starts right away.

Is my progress saved?

Your high score, number of games played and total lines cleared are saved in your browser (localStorage). Clearing browser data resets them.

Can I play on mobile?

Yes. You can tap or drag on the board to play, and on desktop you can use the keyboard.
